About the programme
Does your child know what to do during an emergency? Do you wish your child is equipped with survival skills like emergency preparedness and first aid so that they are prepared?
Harnessing the strengths of nature, we will take your child on an adventure in a mystical jungle, to learn how plants overcome adversities and how we can apply the same resilience to personal life challenges. Our explorers will discover nature’s healing wonders, pick up improvisational first-aid techniques and learn outdoor risk assessment so that they can think quickly on their feet at all times. Through a final day rescue mission, they will hone skills to help them cope when overcoming obstacles/challenges and think out-of-the-box in such situations.
Learning Focus:
- Outdoor Learning – Plant’s defense and recovery mechanism in the wild
- Outdoor Adventure – Risk Assessment and Improvisational first aid in nature
Learning Outcomes:
- Acquire useful tips on how plants protect and heal themselves when injured
- Apply these ‘tips’ when children are faced with similar situations outdoors
- Engage in outdoor risk assessment and perform improvisational first aid in nature
